Presentation Scan

Up to 35 weeks
£85 with sonographer

This is performed as part of the reassurance or wellbeing scans
This is a scan checks the way the baby is presenting. It will tell you which way the baby is lying which is important for the way you deliver the baby.
It is useful to have this assessed with a scan because sometimes it is difficult to be accurate just by your midwife palpating or trying to feel which way the baby is lying. We do this scan up to 32 weeks. We suggest ideally you would have had a scan with us earlier in the pregnancy, if possible, if considering this scan.
During this scan the heart beat of the baby will also be checked. You will receive one glossy photo depending on the baby's position and a printed report.
